LACC was hungry for a win. In their first road match of conference play, the Lady Cubs started out aggressive. With an assist from Isabella Velazco, Stephanie Cardenas scored the first of 5 goals in the 10th minute. At the 20-minute mark, Isabel Estrada scored off a penalty. Starting the second half off strong, Audrie Becerra gave a great cross giving Wendy Gomez the opportunity to score a goal from her head. Jakelin Jimenez scored in the 57th minute. To end the game, Stephanie Cardenas got her second goal of the match, finalizing the result at a 5-0 score and securing the first conference win of the season. Join us this Friday at home when the Lady Cubs take on Rio Hondo at 4:30pm.
