Cubs bounce back with a win

The LACC Men's Soccer team bounced back from their 4th loss of the season to the Rio Hondo Roadrunners when they traveled to LA Harbor and clinched their 11th win of the season with a 6-0 victory. The Cubs got on the scoreboard 3 minutes into the game as Andrew Luna scored his first goal of the season, on a cross from Axel Miranda. The attack would not slow down and sophomore Brayan Cordova would assist freshman Jose Castaneda who would score on a beautiful shot 20 yards out. The score would be 2-0 and it seemed the score would stay the same going into the half, as the Cubs would miss other opportunities, but Axel Miranda would put in the 3rd goal on a cross by  Fernando Avina, right before the half and LACC would take a 3-0 lead in the first 45 minutes of play.

The Cubs would pick up where they left off in the 1st half and score the 4th goal behind sophomore Felipe Alvarez who would be assisted by Eduardo Corral. LACC would go on to continue the attack with fresh legs, and would score 2 more goals in the last 15 minutes where Nicolas Magana would assist Edwin Cajero after stealing the ball, and Jose Castaneda would finish the scoring after putting in his 2nd goal of the match from an assist on Erik Ruiz. The Cubs improve to 3-2 in the conference and 11-4-1 overall, they will now travel to Cerritos on 10/21 for a Friday match up at 4pm.
