All South Coast Conference honors go to Chasen Stewart and Luke Olmstead
After a 13-year absence from the sport, Men's Basketball made a triumphant return for the 2023-24 season. The team's resurgence was highlighted by the outstanding performances of two standout players, Chasen Stewart and Luke Olmstead, who both earned well-deserved spots on the South Coast Conference (SCC) All-Conference Team. Stewart, known for his versatility on the court, showcased his skills by averaging an impressive 14.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game. Meanwhile, Olmstead, a formidable force in scoring, averaged 14.6 points and 4.0 rebounds, further solidifying LACC's presence in the competitive basketball scene.
The return of Men's Basketball at LACC after such a prolonged hiatus not only reinvigorated the sport's fans but also underscored the resilience and determination of the players and coaching staff.
