Born in Lynwood CA, and raised in South Gate CA. Erwin Salmeron began his coaching career in 2012 at Beyond the Bell Middle School unit. During his years with BTB he was successful in producing a dominant program at Belvedere Middle School (East Los Angeles). Furthermore, he began coaching at the high school level at South East High School in 2017 where he has achieved a league title and a Division 1 Los Angeles City Section title in 2021. Erwin has also been involved in Semi-pro soccer coaching with the LA Wolves in the UPSL and US Open Cup in 2018. Moreover, he transitioned his way to A.S Los Angeles in 2019 and coach for their UPSL and NPSL men's side to present time. 

 

Erwin has an AA degree in Kinesiology at East Los Angeles College, a B.S degree in Kinesiology at California State University, Long Beach, and is currently obtaining his M.A in Kinesiology at California State University, Long Beach. He also holds a USSF D license and is currently pursuing the USSF C license.
